The Toot Oriole:
This is the first mission and is open to you at the very beginning. The first thing you need to do is go to the Big Mountains and then to Mt. Noob which is located at the top of the screen. There, you will meet the Toot Oriole who will first ask you to adventure at Cobb's Knob at the Nearby Plains and the Haunted Pantry on the Right Side of the Tracks which can be found in Seaside Town. You should equip your starting gear before adventuring. After a few adventures there, you need 30 meat to go on. Now you have to go and buy some chewing gum on a string which can be found in the Demon Market in Market Square in Seaside Town for 30 meat. When you return with the chewing gum on a string, he will give you the oriole-feather headress. Now he will tell you to return to him when you are stronger, which sometimes you could just leave and come back. Then he will tell you to make meat paste in your inventory and put back together his favorite action figure using his action figure head and his action figure body. Once you have the meat paste, a new menu will open up in your inventory that says Combine Stuff. Click it and choose the two parts and combine them. You will recieve the Mighty Bjorn action figure. Bring the action figure back to the toot oriole. Now we come to your final task. He will ask you to get a golden twig from the hermit. In order to do this you have to buy a hermit permit from the Demon Market for 100 meat, and trade the hermit the worthless trinket that the Toot Oriole gave you for a golden twig. Bring this back to the Toot Oriole, and you will be rewarded with a Certificate of Participation, which you can use from your inventory to have it placed in your campground, and in your character sheet under accomplishments, it will say, "You have completed your training with the Toot Oriole." Congratulations, you just completed your first quest, and now you have to go the Council of Loathing in Seaside Town to receive any more quests.
The Dark and Dank and Sinister Cave:
This location is open up to you at level 4 with 18 in your primary stat. The Dark and Dank and Sinister Cave includes 6 areas. The first five don't require any adventures and only require certain item(s). The fist location, the Fly Bend, requires a Gnollish Flysatter from the Degrassi Knoll. The next location is a door which you can only get by if you have a cog and a sprocket in your inventory. You can get those items in the Degrassi Knoll as well. Now you will come to a Lavatory Troll who will ask for fairy gravy from the Haiku Dungeon. After the troll is pleased you will approach another door, although this time it is covered and salad making it impossible to get past. For this location you will need Knob Goblin tongs from the Outskirts of Cobb's Knob. The last puzzle involves another lavatory troll, but this one is asking for a condiment for his fries. This involves going to the hermit with a hermit permit and a worthless trinket, worthless gewgaw, or worthless knick-knack, and trading for either ketchup or catsup. Bring the condiment back to the troll and proceed to the final room. The final room is the Chamber of Epic Conflict. It costs 1 adventure to go here. In the chamber you will meet you enemy. Vanquish your enemy and you will get a spiffy new hat as seen below:
